Our lavender plants typically bloom twice a year, early Summer and early Fall. We only have 2 bushes, but by the end of the season, we have baskets full of dried lavender. 
It's glorious and beautiful, and smells oh-so-amazing . . . but I'm never really sure what to do with it all! Decorate with it, obviously, but I was bound and determined to discover more benefits to this bountiful harvest.
